I made this quilt not really knowing who it was for, but after looking at the fabric honoring Anne of Green Gables, Claire was the natural one to give it to. As I watched her love the outdoors and spend hours holding the baby goats next door to her house, it made sense that it was hers! I gave her the quilt and then made the matching jelly roll rug to give her for her birthday later this month.
